Creative spatial design was crucial due to the challenging narrow space between the existing renovated factory buildings on both sides. The three-story structure exemplifies efficiency and functionality, with each level thoughtfully zoned to provide varying levels of privacy. The layout maximizes usable space while also creating an illusion of spaciousness, optimizing every square meter.

I collaborated on Sodavandsfabrikken in a team of two from pre-design to completion. I closely engaged with clients, using our Revit model as our primary communication tool to align solutions with their visions. Throughout, our collaborative efforts aimed to realize their aspirations in architecture. The project demanded numerous custom solutions, necessitating close coordination with a structural engineer for feasibility and integrity. This process enhanced my technical skills and emphasized the significance of teamwork and client collaboration in achieving a succesful project.

I devised a solution that transformed the challenge into a feature. It not only channels natural light from the second-floor window using a reflective surface but also facilitates ventilation on the ground floor and creates a cozy seating area for the second-floor living room.
